Bodytite is one of the best solutions yet developed for minimally invasive skin tightening and elimination of fat, and represents the current state of the art in minimally invasive body contouring. Bodytite allows tightening and smoothing of loose skin without more extensive surgery or scars and is truly a significant step forward in the management of these aesthetic problems. Bodytite can be used to benefit patients in most areas prone to the development of loose skin, including the abdomen, hips, thighs, arms, and knees (how many women have loose skin on their arms and knees?). As it is so safe and effective, it is an excellent alternative to Brachioplasty (arm lift surgery) for correction of the dreaded "bat wings", thigh lift surgery, and other procedures requiring scars and bigger operations. In some patients, the best outcomes are achieved by combining Bodytite treatment with a surgical procedure. Bodytite (and its related treatment for the face, Facetite) utilizes radiofrequency energy delivered both above and below the skin and tissues to eliminate fat and tighten skin without scars. Research and experience have shown tightening up to an impressive 40-50% of the surface area.
For small areas that require more precision, Dr. Soto offers Accutite. Utilizing the same radiofrequency energy in an identical application, Accutite simply uses a smaller, more compact hand piece that allows for the detailed treatment of hard-to-target areas such as the bra-fat area (under the arm) and just above the knee. When creating your personalized treatment plan, our team will assess your requested treatment areas and determine whether Bodytite or Accutite will deliver the best results. As both treatments utilize radiofrequency energy delivered directly to the treatment area, you can expect the same procedure process and very similar recovery and results.
Bodytite Surgical Technique
Bodytite treatments can be done under local anesthesia for smaller areas in selected patients, with oral sedation, Pronox gas ("laughing gas") or under general anesthesia for larger areas or when multiple areas are to be addressed. It is performed under sterile conditions and usually takes no more than 30-45 minutes per area treated. Because the safety and outcome of all body contouring procedures will depend on the surgeon's understanding of the anatomy and their three dimensional sense of beauty, it is critical you choose a surgeon Certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery like Dr. Armando Soto for your Bodytite procedure.

"Bodytite with Lipo! - I work out about 5 times a week and try to eat healthy but with years of weight fluctuations and two children, it seemed matter what I did, I had the hip fat (muffin sides) and the back fat around my bra line (chicken wings). Dr Soto did Bodytite with lipo in June. He warned me up front that it would be a few months until I saw results. He was right (I’m glad he warned me) and I am so, so p..."- K. / RealSelf / Sep 08, 2018
Bodytite Before/After Surgery
Before your Bodytite procedure, Dr. Soto will mark the area(s) to be treated, and you will be photographed. Once the anesthetic is administered, awake patients usually feel only a bit of warmth that is not unpleasant. Once the treatment has been completed, your skin will be cleansed and you will be placed in the appropriate support garment, to be worn 24 hours a day for the first few days (Dr. Soto will advise you based on your treatment and tissue composition). Most patients experience minimal swelling, minimal to no bruising, and mild tenderness in the treated areas for a few days to a week. Return to normal daily and social activities is possible for most patients after 48 hours. You will see improvement almost immediately- but because the primary benefit of the treatment is the long term contraction of tissues, with an increase in collagen and elastin production, your improvement and tightening will continue to progress for up to 12 months.
Plan Your Procedure
How Much Does it cost ?
Treatment costs will vary according to the number of areas treated, total treatment time, the type of anesthesia used, and whether or not the procedure is combined with other treatments.
A replacement for surgery ?
In some areas and for some patients, Bodytite does represent an excellent alternative to surgery in the sense that these carefully selected patients will achieve an improvement compared to what they could expect through surgery-but without actually having a traditional operation, without long scars, and with much less expense. For other patients, Bodytite will represent a compromise- meaning that the improvement may not be quite as dramatic or smooth as they could have achieved through surgery, but because it is much less expensive and offers the significant advantages of no scars and minimal recovery, is preferable for them. Finally, there are areas of the body where even surgery is not usually a great option, and in these areas, Bodytite is an absolute revolution!
Who performs the surgery ?
Dr. Soto performs all Bodytite procedures personally.
Can I combine procedures ?
Absolutely. In fact, it is Dr. Soto's artistic vision and conscientious understanding of your safety needs that allows him to maximize the benefit of this amazing treatment, whether applied independently or in combination with other procedures.
